KRISTEN and MATT

About the day

Kristen and Matt's tented garden wedding was a stunning celebration filled with vibrant design and thoughtful details that perfectly reflected their personalities. From floral table linens and rattan chargers to personalized touches throughout the day, every element embraced Kristen's maximalist vision. And when an unexpected monsoon rolled in at the end of the night, it only added to the story.  Nothing could stop the fun, the laughter, or the love they shared with their closest family and friends.

From our very first meeting, I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Within an hour, I referred her to another fellow bride. Having an experienced wedding professional in our corner took the guesswork out of literally everything. Mary had a plan for every detail--things I never would have even thought to ask about.

She created schedules for our wedding party and family so everyone knew exactly where they needed to be throughout the entire wedding weekend instead of calling us the night before. She even made sure we didn't miss a single family photo combination and offered guidance on navigating some awkward family dynamics. Those weren't services I expected, but they're exactly what set Mary apart.

“Looking back, I can't imagine getting married without Mary.”

Mary's design services were equally impressive. She created a cohesive design proposal, organized every décor item in an easy-to-follow tracker, and let us shop at our own pace without ever feeling pressured. She also sourced from local artists and small businesses while staying within our budget. She thought of details we never would have known about, and the design proposal made it easy to communicate our vision to our vendors.

One of the best add-ons we chose was the pet coordination, and it ended up being one of our favorite parts of the day. Our black lab, Reese, is such an important part of our family, but with all of our loved ones attending the wedding, we had no one to care for her. Having Carolyn, the pet coordinator (and dog whisperer), stay with Reese in the comfort of our home and then bring her to the ceremony and cocktail hour was absolutely priceless. Reese got to be part of one of the biggest days of our lives without us having to worry about a thing.

On the wedding day, Mary also brought an additional coordinator, Megan, which made a huge difference. Having two experienced professionals on-site meant everything happened effortlessly behind the scenes, and I always felt comfortable asking questions or making last-minute requests knowing our wedding was fully supported.

If you're wondering whether a wedding coordinator is worth it, the answer is yes. Hire Mary! She anticipates needs before they arise, solves problems before you even know they exist, and creates an experience where you actually get to enjoy your wedding day instead of managing it. Looking back, I can't imagine getting married without her.

Let’s start planning

From feeling calm and supported to fully enjoying their wedding day, these are the stories and experiences that matter most to us.
